CSF is distinguished as a comprehensive national platform that provides financial, technical, and administrative support based on principles of good governance. It relies on advanced and flexible digital systems and strategic national and international partnerships that foster innovation and efficiency to achieve tangible social impact.

CSF targets civil society organizations, volunteers, and staff of the relevant administrative authority, in addition to supporting the most vulnerable segments of society in key sectors such as health, education, social protection, economic empowerment, humanitarian relief, and response to crises and disasters.
