The Civil Society Support Fund (CSF) was established under Law No. 149 of 2019, as an independent organization, marking a transformative milestone in the evolution of civil society work in Egypt. It stands as the first national entity dedicated to supporting and financing civil society projects in an organized and transparent manner.
The Fund aims to empower committed organizations to implement their developmental projects — not only by providing funding, but also through monitoring, capacity building, and institutional development, ensuring sustainable and tangible impact on the ground.
What truly distinguishes the Fund is its unique ability to combine financing with accountability, and technical support with oversight, positioning it as a strategic partner for associations and institutions striving to create real change in people’s lives and to strengthen civil society’s role as a key pillar in achieving sustainable development.
The CSF operates in accordance with core institutional values:
Accountability, Flexibility, Impact, Transparency, and Sustainability.
